Hopefully someone will chime in but I think swimming pools raise ph and ocean is better - I could be wrong!!!! I also seem to remember atomic said you could use rephresh after swimming to bring oh back down

Yes, swimming in pools can raise your pH and swimming in the ocean according to some people on IG may make you absorb some sodium, but Atomic thinks there´s no need to worry about it (right, Atomic?)
I was on holiday last week, I swam in the pool and the sea and out of curiousity I checked once, my pH went up just a little.
It was 5,05 where normally it always was around 4,5.
Iif it goes up you could use Rephresh. I think you don´t need to worry about it.

DS1 was conceived in a swimming pool... It was the end of May and it was the first time we went in the pool that year. We were on our way to Mexico for a week. We did spend time in the ocean after the pool. I do not know when I O because we were not TTC. AF started the day after the pool thing. The day we returned I was already feeling sick, it was about 7 days after DTD.

On the one hand, the water from either could wash away a lot of cm, no? I wouldn't worry about it either, enjoy yourself. But if you are concerned, why not try the represh thing? Have fun!

thanks everyone! Why does this all have to be so stressful and annoying lol
I'm sure people have conceived girls on holidays while going swimming in the pool and ocean!! Would it be a bad idea to put a tampon in?? would that avoid water from getting in there?

I would think that would just absorb more water and keep it saturated there. Plus putting one in dry. Ugh.

I had read to put in a diva cup with some refresh (or replens or acijel). Not sure if it would work but that was recommended a lot on another board.

Rephresh adheres to the vaginal walls (which is why it lasts for 3 days) so if you're worried I would just bung some in and enjoy your swim
