How much will Amoxicillin sway boy?
So i am not really swaying per -se, but I would like another girl because my daughter was born with some health issues, I think her having a sister would be nice to confide in when she is older. So I am just sort of doing what I did when I conceived my DD. I am nursing twice a day, cardio 5 days a week, drinking some fertility teas, mag/cal, vitamin E, folic acid, acidophilus and fish oil . I have lost about 7 lbs but am not the weight I was when I conceived my DD yet.
Ovulation is coming up this week and I have an infection in my eyelid and need to be on amoxicillin. How much will that sway blue?

Huge congrats on the birth of your daughter!!
I personally do not think that the antibiotics have been shown to sway in any reliable way. It's all a bunch of anecdotes and supposition without any hard evidence.
We got really bad results with the acidophilus and now use it only for blue sways. I would have you drop that if you can get by without it.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I would definitely drop the vit e, fish oil, acidophilus. Those all sway blue. I'd drop everything except the folic.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I am only taking acidophilus since I am in an antibiotic. I really can't drop the other things, I have fertility issues and I don't want it to take 2 years to get pregnant again. I was on even more when I conceived my DD so I am hoping they will give me the same results. I was actually on nothing when I conceived my DS oddly enough

You could eat yogurt instead? That's what I do after antibiotics.
I wonder if you struggled with secondary IF if a dr would give you clomid? That would help your sway and get you pregnant faster, hopefully.

When on antibiotics the rules are different and you should take probiotics at that time and for a few days afterwards!!

While I can see the sense in that, I have not ever heard that or had it recommended to me! Is it a recent policy?
Though swaying-wise, a week of probiotics probably isn't a big deal anyway.

It's what they're doing now in the US to prevent C difficile infections and just general tummy issues. When my son got bitten by a cat he had to go on antibiotics and they were very insistent that he had to take (horrifyingly expensive) probiotics the whole time and for a week after
