Early period pain
Since I am ttc for several months now I started to chart my temperatures again (I hope the link works: https://www.mynfp.de/display/view/qsfgmws8mir7/).
We dtd one week ago on CD11. I def ovulated that date, like always (positive OPK; o pain and temerature rise).
After O I had a nice temp increase but then suddenly temp falls (even under the baseline). I am having period cramping all the time and today it´s worse! I have this early period pain since my last 3 cycles (never had that). However my luteal phase is always exactly 14 d.
Is this due to progesteron issues? Is vitex the problem? Maybe I should not stop it at O? Many women take vitex for progesteron problems to stay pregnant.
I´d love to hear some thougths!!!Sorry for my bad English! - I am from Austria!!

Okay, today temp increased again. *hope*
And I have read, that a second estrogen surge can lead to a temp fall in the luteal phase. It's okay, as long as temp rises again.
But why do I always have period pain? But it is much much better today!Sorry for my bad English! - I am from Austria!!

It is not uncommon to have cramps for a few days before AF gets here. If the cramping is really bad that may indicate pregnancy
That does not indicate anything about your prog level. IF your LP is 14 days, your prog levels are fine.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Yes exactly, your secondary estrogen surge (which is just a bit of estrogen that your body releases to help maintain uterine lining a little longer) will cause you to have a temp drop that can last a day or two in the LP. Usually 7-10 day range. This is totally normal and does not mean anything about progesterone.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Hello, Atomic hopefully you will see this! It has definitely been a while. I am not TTC, my cycles have been MIA for over a year, I'm quite certain. I have not been charting but haven't had it....
Not sure where to ask not TTC
