Hi ladies, hope you don't mind if I join you here. I am doing the pcos diet and we are starting trying in July. I find the diet hard because I'm so worried about eating the wrong things. For bread I have been eating gluten and wheat free bread as I am sure I read somewhere on here that bread should be wheat free for the pcos le?
I find a tin of soup with 2 slices of this bread (I prefer homemade soup but for the purposes of counting macros I have tinned at the moment) great for lunch. Quick and easy! For dinner I like baked potato, carrots and 2 slices of turkey sandwich meat my go to dinner. With some gravy too.
I also like wholemeal Pitta with tomato pizza base spread and a small amount of mozzarella cheese on top.
I will mostly be eating variants of this until bfp.
I have clomid and metformin too so hoping these help!

Welcome Englishdame, I think if it's wholegrain that's fine, but gluten free is great too. I'm sure atomic has said in the past the results on gluten free diets are good. Your diet sounds good, I like the sound of pitta pizzas!

Hi! I am on the PCOS diet too!
Is dried fruit in cereal bars ok on the PCOS diet, I thought dried fruit was too high in sugar and we should stick to fresh fruit as it has a higher fibre content??

I also noticed wholegrain belvita have added vitamins in them, so maybe we should avoid them??
It's hard isn't it, maybe atomic can help later!!

I've just reread back on this thread and atomic said that some people with pcos may do better going wheat free. So if you do have this then going wheat free is a good option Englishdame.

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
