Can you get these things or similar where you are??? All these sauces are low carb and I ate gobs of all three when I was swaying. Also many people use Ranch or Blue Cheese dressings as well on the alt. diets.

Well, those links are not terribly informative, to describe, the first one is a pesto sauce but it's not really true pesto, there's no nuts in it, mostly just basil, salt, and oil, and the second one is Hollandaise sauce (if you make with full fat milk it's low carb, don't use skim because it's carbier) and then Bernstein's Italian salad dressing.

No we don't have those in the UK, probably have a version of ranch which may go OK on rice. I'm not a rice or pasta lover naturally so find it hard when not with the usual satay sauce from the Chinese or with bolognaise ;-)

What about some sort of coconut based Korma (curry) sauce?

Or a Supreme sauce, basically margarine, flour, milk and a bit if mustard for flavour?

Chocolate do you like mushroom stroganoff? That goes well with rice if you want the recipe. I buy passata with basil and add my own veg and herbs. I've also bought the kids goodness pasta sauce from Tesco to add to pasta and grate a little vegi Parmesan cheese to it. I've found it quite hard to find something really tasty so I often make my own dishes enough for two days. I also searched for 'roast veg' on bbcgoodfood and found some really nice dishes. Let me know if you want any links.

Curry itself is ok, if you can make it without the coconut milk
Anything that's lower carb is good, mustard is certainly allowed. It would depend on how much flour you need to thicken the sauce.

Yeah I think the supreme would take quite a bit of flour. Thanks Frilly Lady, I have seen the goodness sauce from Tesco so could have that for a change sometimes, I haven't had mushroom stroganoff before but I'll look it up. I typically like cheesy sauces. I'll try some rice with mushrooms and asparagus chucked into some low salt vegetable stock tomorrow to see if that makes it easier to eat ;-)

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
