Frequency of BD when DH is over 35

Hi! I remember reading that atomic doesn't like abstain for men over 35. I wasn't planning on doing abstain at all but I'm just wondering what would be considered "too long" of an abstain for a man this age (he's 37). The last time we BD was Monday night. DH was sick the end of this past week so we weren't able to BD again. I think I may have ovulated but not positive since I don't chart and my opks were confusing me. Just figured I would try again just in case that once attempt was too early and if there's a chance I still haven't ovulated. Just curious if anyone knows the answer? Thanks!

Don't overthink it, I don't think it's THAT huge a risk and it's certainly not a "light switch" where if you abstain 7 days vs 6, then dire things will occur. I just don't want anyone to try to use it, just trying to play things as safe as we possibly can, YK?

I would def. have you in with attempt as soon as you can, don't worry about the abstain. It happens from time to time.
