Sylk tampon?
Has anyone tried this? My ph a few days ago was lower than 5.5 ( the lowest on the test strips) and I jut check cm and it was 8. So I put sylk all over a tampon and plan To leave it in for a couple of hours. Anyone tried this? Thoughts?

Most of us on here are not worrying about pH as it doesn't sway one way or another. Seriously, I wouldn't worry/stress about pH.

Please use the Sylk alone without the tampon. There is no benefit to be had, the only reason why a tampon was ever used with lime juice is because it is a liquid whereas the jelly-like nature of the Sylk makes it stick to the vaginal walls.
You really lower odds of conception a lot and also using a tampon in the wrong way ups risks of toxic shock syndrome, which can be fatal.

Case against pH for swaying is here. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...ph-pickle.html
I got my 4th boy with pH of 4.5-5, testing 2-3 times a day, that never went past that until I was already pregnant. I didn't even know I ovulated because I had no CM and my pH never went up. I have seen tons of pH opposites going both ways and it is really just impossible for me to believe it any more.

I wouldn't do it. I don't think Sylk or any of the jellies do much and I definitely think testing pH and worrying about it is unnecessary snd could even sway blue!
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

our stats show very clearly that the jellies are doing NOTHING. THey have identical results to the overall success rates of the site and people are getting the same results both with and without it. The jellies do not help whatsoever and they really cut odds of conception a lot.
