Question about normal LE diet or pcos style LE
I have been following the LE diet for about a month loosely. I haven't lost any weight and don't usually struggle to lose weight on diets. I also have suffered from adult onset acne for a few years which worsened massively in my last pregnancy. I am also an Apple shape but not overweight. During my last pregnancy I had ketones and glucose consistently in my urine however my glucose intolerance test came back ok.
Other than the above I always ovulate on time and have regular 33 day cycles. I asked my gp before about testing for pcos due to my skin and they declined to do it as I don't have excess body hair and weight gain or fertility issues.
Do you think it would harm my sway to go onto the pcos diet to see if my skin improves or shall I stay on the normal diet and try to be a bit stricter? Also should I start any supplements like saw Palmeto or vitex or would this likely disrupt my cycle?

Also how long would a personalised plan take and how much is it? We're Ttc in May so don't know if we have enough time. Today I've carried on with normal LE diet.

http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html I want you to switch to the alternate diet (there are tow, choose the one that will work better for you) Whenever anyone doesn't lose weight this is a sign they need to switch to one of the alt diets.
I can have a plan done within 7-10 days, def. not too late for a May attempt.

Thanks atomic. I've just tracked my calories today and I'm wondering if I've just been eating more than I thought despite eating the right foods. Should I try the normal diet more strictly before doing the pcos first? If I am not borderline pcos would the pcos diet be less effective? I'm so confused. I will buy a plan I'm just not sure whether to do normal or pcos style sway due to bad skin!

WE are getting such good results with the alternate diets that I am honestly wondering if everyone should be doing them. No one is shortchanging themselves by doing one of the alt diets. Very nice results .

It's really funny reading this post because since I've been on the LE diet my skin has really cleared up. I'm wondering if the fact that I rarely eat meat/chicken/ seafood now has helped my skin. I've suffered from acne from age 12ish to now ( age 34).

I think it may because I have had anemia off and on since my pg with my daughter 3 years ago and the last couple months I decided I was sick of it and have been eating a lot of meat and eggs, and OMG my skin this month around AF was just AWFUL. I had like 7 large acne pimples and I normally never get those. :/
So happy for you Treens, congratulations Sent from my SM-A225F using Tapatalk
