Sway Plan Late Summer... Thoughts?
I've corresponded with Atomic some and think I have some idea of how I want to do this whole sway thing.
We are planning to have our first attempt in August, and although I know we might not get pregnant the first month, I want to plan like we will. Our first was an oops, and our second we conceived the first month trying - so maybe we have high fertility, which might explain the two boys!
I'm planning to lightly start the diet now, but don't plan to go hardcore until after my vacation on June. This will give me about 9 weeks on the diet (providing I ovulate when I normally do!). I am 5'4 and about 117 (I've recently gained a few pounds from lifting weights), so I don't want to lose too much weight.
Here's my plan:
LE diet - 1500-1800 calories
Cardio 60 minutes 5-6 days a week on elliptical
Skip breakfast and no snacking
OLE for husband
My questions: I lift weights, so should I drop them in May or June?
How many hours need to be between your evening meal and your morning meal/lunch?
Also, I'm on Topamax for headaches... is that okay? Any other supplements I should be on?
Thanks! Y'all are great.

Looks great! I would drop the weights in May and shoot for an overnight fast of 12-16 hours before your first meal of the day.

Total side note but I've never heard of topomax - I get migraines, so now I want to look this up! (I read somewhere too that all
Drugs are believed to sway pink... )

Best of luck with your sway, we'll be swaying for our third child (have two boys similar ages to yours) in September! Similar sway plan here except I'll be taking fiber (chitosan or metamucil seem to be favoured, anything with no added vitamins really) supplements with every meal. I might take Saw Palmetto also if my cycles continue to be irregular. If DH will consent to LR I'll have him take that for 2-3 cycles and then drop it if I need to.
I've been skipping breakfast for months now and don't miss it one iota. I gave up red meat over a week ago, it was annoying yesterday when DH and the kids were having spag bol and I just had some pasta with a rather bland passata based sauce lol. I did a batch cook of veggie lasagna last week and when that runs low I'll batch cook another veggie meal like a curry. I had started exercising nightly but the kids got sick and are only on the mend now so I was just too tired. It would be great to hop on the elliptical like you but we don't have one! I could exercise during the boys nap time!!

Drop weights in may.
However many hours works FOR YOU. Don't do what others did if you are dying the whole time. Everyone has different metabolism and it's best to do things that are helpful to you becaue it makes it way easier to stick with that way.
you need to talk to your doc about your plans to TTC because Topamax may not be safe for you to take.
I would not add in any other supplements with the Topamax other than folate (and I'd use at least 2000 mcg with the Topamax and use folate instead of FA, also add in a low dose Vit. B12 2x a week)

I'm doing folic acid; should I switch over to folate also?

Folate is better, and is def. superior for anyone with clotting disorders or on medication that may interfere with folic acid absorption.
BUT it is more expensive and for 95% of everyone, FA is just fine and dandy. I took FA.
