Trouble sleeping diet related?
Okay so this is probably a complete coincidence but I was wondering if anyone was having trouble sleeping after starting the diet? I normally sleep pretty well but I have been having trouble falling/ staying asleep since I started dieting and the exercise. Is it just me? I do not feel like I have any stress but I am more anxious during the day for some reason (could be because I'm worried about the lack of sleep). I'm a pretty happy person and have no idea what's going on. Like I said, it's probably just a coincidence but I thought I'd ask!

Yes some people have reported this, exercising too late, empty carbs right before bed, higher caff intake, and alcohol may also interrupt sleep (even just a drink or two) Some also believe that diet food/drinks may interrupt sleep (I had a lot of anxious feelings and trouble sleeping after ingesting Splenda)
I actually had trouble sleeping because I was HUNGRY. I started eating a yogurt right before bed and it made all the difference in the world for me.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Very very common when dieting, I have experienced it myself severely on another diet. Sometimes I just had to have a little snack before bed. Hot broth helped too by filling my empty belly.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I do exercise around 7 pm but I'm a stay at home mom and there is really no other time for me to do it. I have been drinking Crystal Light (no idea why really - it's pretty gross and I don't think it does anything) maybe that is contributing too. Very odd. I guess I need to figure out what I need to change because I have zero energy anymore.

Exercising late in the day is notorious for causing insomnia!
I'd try dropping the CL for sure and having a snack that is NOT super sugary, about 30 min. before bed. A low dose of magnesium (100 mg) may also help.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
