    How much folic acid?

    I've been taking 1200 mcg (three 400 mcg pills) a day, but I just read something about spreading the dosage out - but is 1200 mcg still the right dosage?
    mama to (2011) and (2013)

    I believe the dosage depends on what Atomic advises based on your age. If you are taking 1200mcg, it is best to take it three times a day to spread out the dosage.

    1200 mcg is the right dose but you have to space them out because your body uses what it needs and then pees out the rest. So by taking smaller amounts over the course of the day, it's better used by your body because you always have a supply available.
