Clearblue Easy Advanced Ovulation test?
Would the Clearblue Easy Advanced Ovulation test be recommended for a one attempt girl sway? Looking at the graph provided on their website, it would give a 2-3 day cut off. I know that the one attempt at a regular positive OPK is what is recommended, but that is how I got my last two boys. I am pretty sure that I ovulate fairly soon after getting a positive OPK.
Thoughts?

Timing doesn't sway. Whateever brought you boys, it wasn't the day you had sex on.
I am not a fan of the Clearblue because it has not worked for people. It is weirdly unreliable and people are getting "high" readings for a week at a time or not getting any high readings and going straight to "peak" meaning you never know what your cutoff is going to be anyway.
There is nothing magic about waiting for a true positive OPK. It's just a way to ensure one well timed attempt for good odds of conception. If you don't want to DTD the day of a positive, that's fine. IF you ovulate regularly, just BD 2 or 3 days before you expect O to come. Or if you get a fade in, you can BD when the test is dark but not yet positive. Also fine.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks, Atomic. I meant the digital OPKs...not the expensive machine or whatever it is.

Oh sorry I was confused by your referencing a 2-3 day cutoff (which is possible, but not easy with teh CBFM). there is no way a straight OPK, digi or otherwise, is detecting the surge to give a 2-3 day cutoff reliably. People O about 36 hours after their surge, not 3 days after. I don't know what they think they're detecting 3 days before O but it's not the surge.
The Clearblue digital has also been unreliable for people. For the price you pay for it you are better off getting some Wondfo's online.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Hello, Atomic hopefully you will see this! It has definitely been a while. I am not TTC, my cycles have been MIA for over a year, I'm quite certain. I have not been charting but haven't had it....
Not sure where to ask not TTC
