    Vegetarian TTCG question

    hi Ladys,
we gonna starting to try for a girl beginning jan/feb next year. I never have eaten much meat anyway so i decided to go vegetarian and do the LE diet. am i correct that i count everything i eat but not fruit and veggies ? which i gues you would not eat a massive amount off because of getting to much nutrition ? Did your guys DH change diet? and would it make a difference if he would.

Low carb vegetables (the ones that aren't sweet or starchy) are free meaning you can have as much as you want, no need to count them at all. Totally free for protein, fat, and cals. Totally unlimited. They really don't have as many "nutrients" in them as it seems - you'd have to eat literally a mountain of broccoli to get the amount of fat, protein, cals, and many other nutrients (even important ones like iron, B12, and calcium) in a Big Mac, fries, and a chocolate shake.

Higher carb veg and fruit, you count cals but NOT protein or fat because they hardly have any at all and the kind they have is not easily used by your body anyway.

Fatty veg. like avocado and olives you do count cals and fat in those

Legumes like beans and peas, you count cals and protein but not fat unless it has added fat (like cheese on top)

WE are finding that diet for DH matters very little if at all. IF he's willing to go vegetarian that's great, he does NOT need to stick in LE Diet limits though, and most of our hubbies did not do that much if anything.

Mine did nothing on purpose to sway - he did get fat and randomly take up smoking at 41 years old for some inexplicable reason...but heck, it worked.
