A little worried... pregnancy test faint control line?
hey, I decided to use up the last of my 3 pack of pregnancy tests this morning and when I took it, the left line (which I thought was the test line) went bright pink straight away, but the control line (right line) was very faint... should I be worried or has anyone else had this happen where the control line is so faint you almost cant see it? I will attach a pic. I am freaking out a little thinking something might be wrong...

the top pregnancy test was on CD 25, the middle was CD 28 and the bottom was this morning CD 35

It's a faulty text because the control line isn't triggered by hormones

I did a bit of a search and found some forums with women getting the same result, they contacted 1st Response and were told that reason the control line is so light is because your HCG levels are so high that it actually 'pulls' color from the control line. do you think thats possible?

Yes, that's common with high levels and I have seen it before on forums. Women on fertilityfriend usually get excited when that happens! I would too, it's a good thing. :-)

Yes, it's a great sign! It should be a great feeling when you beat the control line! Means your levels are nice and high!

Perfectly normal. It just usually means your hcg levels are high enough that most of the dye ends up on the test line so the control line ends up being faint. That's about how my tests looked at 16dpo with DS1.

Yes, this happend to me too with the First Response. As long as the test line is nice and dark you have nothing to worry about.

that is also what I heard too. there is only a certain amount of dye in the test and if you're geting a super strong positive it uses it all up.
