Oh yes I'm sorry sometimes the user names are so similar I am not quite sure who I'm talking to from one post to the next.
So sorry for your loss.
My husband didn't do ANYTHING for our successful sway.
Fiber is "Fasern" in German I believe??? the stuff in foods that makes them filling and bulky, like in fruit and vegetables and whole grains
Since your husband is under 35 and in good health then he can try some of the herbs - I would generally recommend
Either Licorice root OR peppermint tea
AND
either cranberry OR olive leaf extract.
He can also drink soy milk and eat soy foods.
So he would take two supplements, picking one or the other and then also the soy milk/soy food.

Atomic, I am so very much impressed by what you archived with this site and how you help us, understand us and give us women the perspective back! We are planning to conceive a baby and that is the most important, and we might be able to push the odds a little, but getting stressed from hair to toe, losing our smile and joy in life isn't the right way to add another miracle to our family!
So no problem you don't remember everyone behind the username at all!!!!
Thank you!

That is by far the best attitude to have! No matter what, we can't lose, we may get a girl or another boy to love - we are winners!!

Hi Atomic,
So my sister’s DH finally jumped on board and is ready to sway girl. They have three boys. He is gonna start biking and take hot showers (they don’t have bath tub) and also he goes to Sauna. He does not want to wear the tight underwears. He is in perfect health. I know he does not have to be on the LE diet, but is there anything in terms of supplements he needs to start taking before TTC in January? And the hot shower and Sauna, does he do that just the week before TTC or from now?
His wife is skinny, had a miscarriage 6 months ago, recently she has started on LE diet eating about 1800 calories give or take, drinking 3 coffee per day with skim milk, she eats about 3 to 4 meals a day, calories mainly from carbs. And she is trying her best to incorporate one hour exercise, but most of the time she can only do 40 mins Zumba.
She only takes 1500 mcg folic acid in terms of supplements.
Anything you’d change for her as well?

Nora, I did want to mention that this is an older thread and some of the things I mentioned above I no longer use at all, like licorice root and peppermint tea. I don't use those any more due to side effects and REALLY bad results. So I would not be giving her husband any of those things.
The only things I'm still using for hubbies is olive leaf extract and soy milk, and I'm not terribly sold on either of them. Men can also use fiber for pink but we dont' have any hard evidence that it works.
I would wait till 6 weeks before sway to start doing the hot baths and stuff.
Is your sister eating 40-50 g protein and 30-60 g fat? (not counting the protein and fat in fruit and vegetables?) Just eating carbs isn't enough, we need to make sure she is getting enough protein and fat as well.

Alright thank you so much! Yes she has been trying to stick to the allowed amount of protein and fat, I think she uses MyFitnessPal app to help her track as much as she could. Thank you again for all the help and support.
When you say fiber, is that a pill supplement or you mean food with high fiber in them? And is she supposed to use that too or it won’t make a difference?

Keep in mind that since we don't track the protein and fat in fruit and veg, and anything in low carb veg (not even calories) MFP can be somewhat misleading so we need to keep an eye that she's getting enough.
We use fiber supplements as a way to absorb a little extra fat and nutrients. But they're not super necessary. I would just ahve them use a low dose fiber supp with any meal containing fat in it. If no fat in the meal, no need for the fiber.
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
