    Weight query help

    Oh dear...I am meant to be swaying pink shortly yet I have recently gained weight instead of losing it. As I am an older Mum I have been trying to eat healthy and follow the ATomic Fertility Diet, but I was worried about my health prior to Christmas and was losing weight so over Xmas I deliberately ate more to make sure I could gain weight and maintain it, which clearly I have done. I was 8.5 stone just after Xmas but yesterday when I stood on scales it went to 8.8 and I nearly fell of the scales in fright. Lol! I have been a bit slack with exercising as I have recently been unwell and on medication (Flagyl) and probiotic. Atomic - what should I do Hun? I'm completely stressing about my girl sway now as I feel like I'm doing nothing. I haven't been taking ubiquinol for even 30 days yet, I haven't been exercising enough lately (partly because haven't felt that well and also because it's Summer school holidays so been busy entertaining the kidlets). I have still been taking 2000mcg folic acid and Elevit every second day or 3 times a week. I've cut down bread, pasta, fats and sugar. The Specialist I saw yesterday (gastroenterologist) told me to cut down on fats and minimal sugar in diet to help with my parasitic bowel infection, so I'm thinking this will play in my favour for girl sway? I also have to continue taking a strong probiotic so will that help as well? I don't eat much meat anyway - I eat mainly chicken and have red meat once a week. Is smoked salmon OK to eat as that is the only way I like salmon? Is it too late for me to start exercising more now? I'll be due for AF to arrive on maybe the 21st Jan (that will mean I will O sometime in first week of Feb). Or should I hold off til early March? Sorry for all the questions. I guess this is like a last minute panic. Plus DH has given me only ONE chance to get it all right.
    2008 2010 2012 August 2015 at 10 weeks and CP June 2016 2019. My longed-for baby girl (DD2) arrived into the world safe and sound on 13th June 2019 . We named her Lucia Anna Catalina. I still can't believe she is here and often have to pinch myself. I am one VERY blessed Mumma. She also has a dimple like her big sister.

    Lower fat will def. help with your sway. You need to do and take what is necessary to get well again no matter how it swyas so keep doing what he is telling you to do.

    Smoked salmon is fine! Yum.

    I think you should prob. skip exercise as I hink it may be too taxing on your recovery.

    As you know already I don't want you to skip months for any reason short of act of God because your husband may change his mind again OR we may miss out on "Goldie the Golden Egg".

    Thanks Atomic. I will be praying to God that I am lucky enough to conceive again and that it works this time and sticks. It was almost 5 months since my miscarriage and I still feel devastated when I think of it and the possibility of enduring it all over again if I conceive again.
