Should i take clomid this month??

I need some advice please girls. I will be on my 4th round of clomid this month. 1st cycle dtd once. 2nd and 3rd cycle dtd 4 times over ovulation . The clomid is definitely helping because i have been ovulating day 17. Just not sure if i should have a month off it or not? Should i just meek going with the clomid and add in something to help cm or should i take the month off clomid and hope i ovulate and try naturally ?? I keep changing my mind on what i want to do just hoping some past or present clomid users can give me some advice. Thanks xo

I feel like the Clomid is making you so nervous Pinkin, that's my main reasoning for thinking you might want a month off

Yes nervous because i dont want to harm my fertility by taking it tho at the same time i do need it to help me ovulate properly. I do want to sway pink but i do need to get pregnant as this is my 4th cycle on it. I will only have 2 more cycles left after this one. If im not harming myself then i will gladly take it

Well it is impossible to know what your body will do but I can share my experience...

I was averaging an O day of cd30 (once cd47) and took 1 round of clomid I got from a friend. I ovulated cd18 then the following unmedicated cycle I ovulated cd17. The cycle after that I ovulated cd29 which is when I got my bfp.

I was going to try clomid the next cycle as I had an appointment booked. I was considering doing 2 cycles on clomid then 1 off and 2 on but I obviously never got that far.

Ok well i think i will take the month off it and see what happens
I think the dryness of the clomid is my problem so maybe this month i wont have that if i skip this month. Thanks Purple x

I'd definitely take a break this cycle. This month I'm off Clomid after my first cycle on it. I only Oed 1 day later and had TONS of EWCM. It's unlikely I'm pregnant, but that's due to bad timing. I'm really glad I took a break, I may even skip it next cycle too, just to see if I keep Oing a bit earlier than has been typical for me the past year.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Yes still great odds of pink due to how long Clomid stays in your system, which is 1-2 months!
