    Tmi - toilet issues...

Evening ladies! With the fibre, I find that I get quite loose and regular anyway; however, following running, I usually end up on the loo quite a bit. My specific question is, as the fibre is meant to reduce absorption of nutrients and fat etc, if you're quite loose in the toilet department, does that mean that you're absorbing less fat and nutrients as everything is presumably moving through much quicker??x

I'm no expert but that could be part of it. If you're not absorbing fat then it has no choice but to move through your digestive system. Fat would make your stools quite loose.

Not necessarily but it CAN mean that. I recommend you reduce fibre rich foods and increase constipating foods like white flour products, corn products, potatoes, white rice, bananas. Also maybe cut back on the supplemental fibre a bit.

We don't know exactly, but I don't want you to be miserable, so I would cut back on it.
