Charting question
I wanted to ask a question about charting. I have been charging for a few months now and I seem to get a very big dip ( which I presume is O day????) and then a big rise the next day. Is it the dip that means ovulation day or is it the rise? My "dip" day keeps changing every cycle from day 10 to day 18 this cycle and it's really annoying me. Cycles were 26 days most months but last month was 28.
Thanks ladies and also a massive thanks to Atomic for all your hard work that you do for everybody, you are Wonder Woman. We value and appreciate you.

Thank you so much PP! Very much appreciated.
The dip is GENERALLY O Day. There are exceptions and never forget that it is possible to have a kookoo day where you sleep with your mouth open or the blanket falls off and could possibly have a very low temp for another reason, like a day before your actual low temp, meaning you could have an incorrect low temp followed by a legit low temp, if that makes sense.
The rise usually indicates egg is dead and gone. There are, occasionally slow risers where there's a dip and then 2-3 temps that don't breach coverline but are still post O. Temping is great for geting pregnant and preventing pregnancy but for pinning down actual O Day, it's not foolproof, unfortunately.
All that having been said if your chart is very "classically beautiful" with the big dip and then a big rise and it's the same for months and corresponds with what you think your O should be, the odds are sky high that the dip is O day and the rise is day after O.

Help again please.
Last cycle I had a positive opk on cd13, which matched my temp dip when charging, we did the deed on that night. Resulted in a negative pregnancy test.
I am on cd12 today and my opk is looking promising that I might get a positive on cd13 again. Still temping and havent noticed anything showing that I am going to dip in temp yet
Do we Dtd to tonight which would be my e4d, or wait a day and see what happens? This is cycle 10.
Will try attach pics From last cycle chart, maybe you can see where or if I messed things up. Thanks allimage.jpg

AUGH sorry just now saw this. E4d means you just dtd every 4 days. Dont try to make it come out on a certain day.
If you are ready to improve odds of conception, then add in another attempt at positive oPK in addition to the e4d method. Not instead of, along with, the e4d and then you'd still continue with e4d after that.

Even if that meant in would be 2 attempt in a row? Say e4d was Thursday's attempt, then opk goes + on Friday... Dtd again??

Yes, that is how every 4 days plus one works.
If you don't want to do that, then do every 4 days or even every 3. But don't mess around trying to figure out some magic way to make it come out on a certain day.
