I hear you--my friend's baby was diagnosed with this rare heart condition and I got super anxious about my family's health for a while, still am. I am almost paranoid sometimes but I am finally getting over it.

Indeed! My manager got diagnosed with stage 3 cancer during routine 50 year old colonoscopy. He went from never sick, never used an IV in his life, to fighting for his life. It's been a humbling experience the last two months. Please say a prayer if you may

:grouphug: So many people have to endure so much. It really is humbling and gratitude-inducing!!
Question - Complex, can you please tell me more about the delayed O last month and now the short LP?? And also about how you are tracking O?? My gut instinct is telling me maybe we are miscalculating when O is taking place. That seems more likely to me than a chemical without a BFP in one month then a super short LP in the next. (now, your LP may have been short this month no matter what, and we have to find out if it is!!)

Something is not right here. 17-19 day LP are quite rare and I have literally never seen anyone going back and forth between 7 and 19 day LP. We're not pinning down O day right in some of these months, I suspect. (this also may be why you haven't gotten pregnant yet.) It may be that the short LP are correct and the long ones aren't, or they ALL may be incorrect.
The apps, unless they use temping, are junk. They just give you an average based on "normal" 28 day cycles which may or may not be you.
I think you may be getting fakers on Clearblue in the months with these very long LP, and then stop testing and miss actual O happening a few days later.

totally I find temping in the morning extremely stressful and it messes with my sleep.
What you CAN do is temp at night. It's not as reliable but it does work for some people. OR, just go to every 4 days (this would be my preference for you as I fear temping might make you feel antsy regardless of the time of day you do it.
Even if your LP is 7-8 days sometimes, your body would be working to fix that regardless and it can change dramatically from month to month.
