Yes absolutely!! Most people will O an average of 36 hours after first positive, sometimes this is extended to 48 or even 72 (not exact times, of course, just sometime in there)

Thanks ladies, it was well past the 30 hr mark when dh got home so I'm not holding out much hope. One more try left then I'm stopping swaying as I turn 42 soon and for some reason I just feel embarrassed about being pregnant and telling people I will be 42. My dh said it doesn't matter about what people say it's none of their business that I should just take a short break, go on our hols and put a little weight back on and start again after Christmas. Maybe I might I just don't know what I want anymore but I know I need to put some weight on as I'm down to 109lbs and I'm 5ft 9 and it's started messing my cycles up for the first time ever. Is 42 really that bad or is it all in my head?

109lb at 5ft9 is very skinny imho. I know of lots of mum's having babies at 40-45. So I would say follow your heart. No one else is living your life x
