Please help advice.... diet and weight gain
Hi all
Im so confused as to what to do please help, have been on weight watchers since january with eating very little meat and have lost 36lb my bmi is right where it should be. Ive had 6 attempts with no luck and was hoping last month (7 attempt) i would concieve as i went on a 14 day holiday a week after ovulation. Needless to say i have eaten and drunk alot and gained weight (8lb)?! and came on my period. im back on diet yesterday but i ovulated in 6 days can i pull it back and ttc this cycle or wait till next month which will be 5 weeks back on diet? I have 2 amazing wonderful boys my youngest starts school next week and i just want a healthy baby and to be pregnant but i know that if i concieve another boy without giving this sway my all i will always wonder what if. I cant stop crying i honestly feel such a longing for a girl it hurts and i just dont know what to do i feel like if i dont get my baby girl this feeling will never go away
Thanks in advance x

Don't cry - we're all here for you.
First of all don't stress about the weight gain, just carry on with your diet.
I don't think 2 weeks will make a massive difference, especially as you have lost 36lb - WOW !
Personally I would TTC anyway, the fact that you have lots 36lbs (28lbs with the gain - is still hugely impressive) must count for something.
Could you perhaps drop all the meat for the next 6days before you TTC ? Might give you an extra bit of help.
Hugs

I agree with the other ladies, I think you should go for it, I dieted for nearly a year for my wedding, it was very pink, even though I knew nothing about swaying. I abandoned the diet after the wedding ate what I liked, when I liked and put on weight, my dd was conceived about 5 weeks after we got married. I asked atomic about it and she said it is the overall pattern and a short number of weeks off diet, would not undo all the previous work. Good luck and pink dust x

I would personally still try, but you have to decide that for yourself. If you're going to live a thousand lifetimes of regret, you may want to skip it, but you have to keep in mind that for all any of us know, you're in an ideal spot this month to conceive a girl and skipping this month could mean you'd end up TTC in a worse month.
The exception is that if you're over 37/38 you should try no matter what as time is not on your side. but if you're younger than that you do have the time to spare if you just can't bring yourself to try.
If after all that you can't decide, I'd flip a coin and do what the coin says.
