I was still breastfeeding my DS while swaying. Just be sure to not cut back too far on cals and stick to the upper limits of fat and protein otherwise you might affect your milk supply. I found I had to stick to 1800-2000 cals and upper limits of fat and protein otherwise my milk supply really dropped. Just see what works for you and if you find your supply drops just add in a little more cals if you need. Good luck

Thanks for your help. Yes I'm finding it hard to stick to any lower calories as I'm starving when breastfeeding! But I've read breastfeeding can only help a girl sway, so I hope it works in my favour. was your sway successful?

I am not sure if successful as only 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. I think we are going to wait until birth to find out gender so I won't know for a while. I gave it my best shot and that was all I could do. I will be happy with a brother for my DS if that is meant to be but would love a little girl.

you need to up cals to 1800-2000 cals, 50-60 g protein, 50-60 g fat to be sure you will keep your milk supply up.
No cranberry or aspirin, no peppermint tea or saw palmetto, Vitex only if your baby is 9-12 months old or more
Only use antihistamine 1x if that even - 6 hours before your planned attempt (or skip it totally since it's gotten neutral results anyway)

I got 1 boy and 1 girl while breastfeeding, but 3 boys without breastfeeding!! Personally I think it helped me a lot, but nothing is 100% unfortunately!

Thank you for the help. really for the no aspirin? I bought some small dose tablets today after reading it was safe to take whilst breastfeeding, but maybe that's for a one of, not prolonged use..

YES YES YES very important NO ASPIRIN.
It has come through our breastmilk and made our babies more likely to bleed and bruise. and no one knows for sure if it could cause Reye Syndrome.
It doesn't work anyway and the risks were much more than we originally thought for both you and for a future pregnancy.
