First attempt -setback!!
I'm currently swaying pink and have been using opk to track O (roughly day 13/14 using opks).
Am starting off with one attempt at positive opk- this was yesterday, (6pm) cd13. despite planning it was not possible to dtd (don't even ask!!).
Today is fainter (checked at 1pm and 7pm). Do you think still go for the one attempt or is it a bit pointless?
Feeling very deflated/disappointed as been doing LE for 4 months and feel I have wasted an attempt .
I know timing doesn't sway but obviously no egg = no bfp!

It is not too late. DTD as soon as you can. You ovulate in the day or two after your first positive so just because it is faint doesn't mean you already ovulated. DTD!

If it isn't too late, you're in with a good chance. If it is, it doesn't hurt anything.
I know what you mean about missing a chance. I missed two cycles- one due to injury (DH) and one because the timing just didn't work. When you've been on the diet and such, it sucks to pretty much throw away 4 weeks.

Thank you for the replies ladies.
It's the first attempt so I feel there's been a big build up and we've stumbled at the first hurdle.
DS was conceived on the first attempt so I think my expectations are a bit too high.

I think being impatient because our boys were conceived so quickly is a common thread among pink swayers. Naturally high fertility, lots of BDing, doing things that boost fertility, taking all the right vitamins, and so on, all sway blue.

The pace at which OPK go negative doesn't tell you if you've Oed or not.
Yes yes still DTD when you can!!! In with good chance still

Attempt made. Husband said he isn't hopeful following the number of times he has released in the past few days (CFR) and we should do more attempts next month.
I've said no chance

Tell him that the CFR needs to go FIRST and only after you've tried that with the one attempt, only then will we add attempts.

I'm happy to keep one attempt for a few months. Do you think scrap any kind of frequency pattern? I thought about abstaining but if it's not that important will stick to normal pattern.
Also, did attempt j&d however I had a minor panic as to how long to leave it- was a few minutes. Do you think this will dramatically cut our odds? (If it wasn't too late due to opk anyway)

Yes, I'd ditch frequency FIRST. You could either have hubby just "do what he does" or else do reg. release every 2-4 days (this will improve odds of conception with that one attempt).
Most people start off with J and D after 5 min. and then gradually extend it over time.
Good luck and pink dust!
