Coffee is preferable over tea so it's better to drink coffee (decaf or regular). I'd skip the tea because it may sway blue.

There is something in the actual caffeinated coffee that sways pink, so I’m glad you’re going to still be having that too. Decaf coffee in the evenings are fine- I can’t blame you, who wants to be up all night!

    🤞🏻for you!

What makes coffee bad for fertility is over doing the caffeine. 3 cups a day isn’t bad- try a pot or two a day! Decaf actually increases inflammation in the body, therefore I would keep decaf to a minimum. My RE informed me of that when TTCing my DS3.

Did your RE said anything about how much coffee reduce the fertility? I really want to drink coffee (both for my sway and because I like it so much) but at this point I have to make sure that I don’t reduce my fertility to much. So what do you suggest, 2 cups of decaf at night or herbal tea/fruit infusion tea?

I never really drank coffee..always a tea drinker. I don't think I could stomach drinking coffee..is there something else in place of coffee? Also I think I read atomic saying soda pop not necessary...I always thought coke etc would be good for pink sway..thanks!!

The thing is, it depends on the person. I would stick to reasonable amounts of coffee. 3 cups is fine. I wouldn’t drink multiple pots of coffee or anything. I drank 3-6 a day, and I got pregnant.

I would avoid drinking tea as that sways blue. 2 cups of decaf should be fine.

There isn’t unfortunately. If you can’t do coffee, then don’t drink it. You can drink coke, just make sure you fit it into your daily totals if you drink the full sugar kind. The Diet Coke is fine, too and you won’t need to count the calories in it.

Just to be clear, Coke or Diet Coke is not a substitute for coffee. Coffee for reasons we don’t quite know, seem to sway pink. We do know it’s more than just caffeine because caffeinated drinks haven’t gotten the kind of results that caffeinated coffee do.

Thank you! And I've been reading that skipping breakfast is key..does that mean skipping a morning drink too? If not ..then how much coffee should you drink the morning before lunch? And are there other things I can drink in the morning other than coke that won't sway blue

Skipping breakfast just means having 12-16 between your last meal from the previous day and the first meal of the next day (so like dinner at 6pm then your next meal at 8am for example). If you're going to have anything before that time (less than 12 hours) then it's preferable to have something with no calories or only a couple of calories. If you have coffee you can drink it black or add a splash of creamer...whatever tastes good to you. It's just if you're having a drink with more than a few calories then treat it as a meal. Coke has a lot of calories in it so that would count as a meal.
