    Snack help!

I've been doing a low calorie diet for months now and losing weight with no breakfast just fine. Lately I've been getting headaches inbetween my two meals and had to start adding snacks to take them away. I know snacking isn't suggested to make girls is there anything else I can do to prevent the headaches?

Maybe add in a third meal or even a fourth if you need to. It would be better than snacking and might help with the headaches. Your blood sugar may be getting too low and triggering headaches. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water too. Sometimes we get so busy and forget but staying hydrated can help ward off headaches (if that's what the problem is). Sometimes I find myself drinking coffee all day long with no water then bam! awful headache. Are you having any other symptoms or is it just headaches?

You probably already thought of this but watching the caffeine could also be important in terms of tracking headache triggers. Making a snack into a small meal sounds more in line with a pink sway. I wonder how much we would aim to meet to make a snack a light meal. Maybe that means just making sure to have more than one food, including a protein during the mini meal?

Just headaches usually right when I wake up or in between lunch and dinner or after workouts.

That's a good question what's the difference between a snack and small meal? I only have one cup of coffee in the morning

A snack would be more like eating something shortly after you ate a meal for example. It doesn't mean you need to eat more than one food for it to qualify as a meal. Just don't eat then 30 minutes or an hour later eat again because that's snacking.

3 meals is fine on LE Diet. That isn't cheating or snacking. Both 2 and 3 meals is a-ok, just do whichever option works better for you. Even going to 4 meals a day is ok - it is still better than doing the all day every day kind of munching that a lot of us who have all boys do.

I ate all day getting my boys and over 2000 calories lol so now I have lunch dinner and dessert under 1500 calories.

Ah ok so maybe I'll make my meals a little bigger so I don't get the headache an hour or two later

Also is low calorie low protein enough ? I stay in limit for protein most of the time but carbs and fats vary. I'm losing weight weekly
