Quick opk question

What time of day is best to test? And how many times do you test a day? I am using the Clearblue digital, not the advanced ones though.

Also does anyone know, you to eject the stick do the blue lines there work like standard opks? The line was darker this morning than yesterday’s but still no smiley face, but hoping that a darker line means closer to getting a positive?!

Been swaying for 3 months now and this month is our first attempt :-)

Afternoon is usually the best time to test. Testing usually once a day is fine however I found while swaying I needed to sometimes test twice a day because my surges became short. So you may want to test early afternoon and again in the evening. The lines on the stick can't be interpreted on a digiital the same way as the line ones. I have noticed they sometimes do get darker as ovulation approaches but I've also had the lines be light and still get a smiley. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your reply! Do I have to limit what I drink before taking them in afternoon and evening? And try to not pass urine for a certain amount of time before testing?

I usually try not to drink anything or pee for at least a couple of hours before taking an OPK. I think the instructions for the CB ones say wait 4 hours.
