Updated supplements for pink sway?
hi ladies, so I have been reading through the forums and am very confused. I am planning on ttc in April. I had my mirena removed 2 weeks ago. I have a 13 month old boy.
I bought SP, Vitex and cranberry supplements but only took them one day because I read here that the more supplements you take the more it sways boy? I do take Folic Acid everyday, I am also on LE diet and have lost 10 pounds since December. I don't exercise everyday, maybe 3-4 days a week for 1 hour straight.
My question is what are the updated results on vitex, SP and cranberry. Should I start taking them from AF-O or don't take them at all. Also, I have been seeing that people take baby aspirin for pink sway, should I take that instead of cranberry? Would love to hear some success stories on ladies who used or didn't use these supplements. Thank you

Please give me a reasonable amount of time to answer before bumping (like 5 days or so) Since I answer posts from oldest to newest, when you bump your post it goes back to the top of my "new" posts and actually makes it take even longer. I want you guys to get your answers as fast as you can and that will make it easier for me to do that!
I have NEVER recommended cranberry since day one since I felt like it made a lot of side effects. We did use aspirin for a while but have moved away from it because it too turned out to have a lot of risks and side effects that were unknown when we first started using it. We tracked them in our results and neither seemed to be helping anyway.
Both Vitex and saw palmetto have also been very disappointing in our results and cause a lot more trouble than we first realized (delaying or even stopping ovulation, and seeming to make it much harder to conceive) Some people still want to take the supplements so I keep them in the mix for those who do, but yes, few people are using them any more (and our results have only improved since we de-emphasized the herbs).
Folic acid and fiber are really the only two things that most are taking.
I took vitex twice and got a boy and a girl while taking it. I didn't take any of the other things.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

only supplement needed is fiber. I wouldn’t do cranberry and vitrex and mess up your cycle.

Hi Atomic! So what dosage would you recommend as far as fiber and folic goes for a pink sway? Am in my 20's right now, is 800mg of folic acid enough? Not sure about the fiber one? And what about vitamin c, please? Thank you.

Please use the dosing guide on your fiber as they vary by brand and I can't give a blanket dose. Use the smallest dose before any meal with fat in it.
800 is probably enough in your 20's.
I wouldn't have you take Vit. C but if you must 500 mg till BFP and then gradually wean off.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Ah ok sounds good. So for supplements thats all that is needed? What about zyrtec(antihistamines) or diet coke(aspartame) before dtd? Do you think a weight of 146 lb and 5"5 good or I need to loose more weight?

Zyrtec has not worked and does cut odds of conception. It's fine to start with it but then be sure to come off it after a couple months if you don't conceive.
What you need to do is be on LE Diet 12 weeks or more for best results. A person's weight on its own doesn't mean anything, it's the amount of time on lower nutrient diet. I'm fine with you trying at the weight you're at as long as you've been on diet that amount of time. But most people who are swaying pink stop losing weight at BMI 21.!!! Questions??
