Sugar limits?
Are there any limits for sugar on the LE diet? I have been watching protein fat and carbs but not worrying too much about sugar and salt. I just read an old sway by somebody who mentioned sticking within the sugar limits and I thought ‘I’ve not come across that’. Thanks for advice!

No limit on sugar and I don't even want you to count sugar or carbs.
If you are watching protein, fat, and calories, that's all you need to do. Since you have PCOS you'll not even be eating sugar anyway (right?) You will be eating fruit and some whole grains but as long as you're keeping in LE Diet limits otherwise (1500-1800 cals, 50-60 g protein, 50-60 g fat) you will be in a good range on those too.
No need to track sodium intake. I still keep it in the mix for the people who insist on it (since it doesn't harm anyone and doesn't prevent conception) but virtually all of us gave it up and our results have only gone up since we did.

Yep keeping in limits. Sugar coming from fruit and alcohol. Though I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t had a few crazy binges around ov and period where (lots of) cake was had! But trying not to get hung up on that. The problem is that sugar is in EVERYTHING. But I’m keeping it as low as possible. Thanks again Atomic

Yeah when we say "sugar" I mean actual SUGAR like candy, soft drinks, etc. not sugar like fruit. Many PCOSers can tolerate some fruit just fine provided they're not eating the SAD day in and day out. (Standard Amercian Diet, I mean)
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
