Vitamin D
Hi Atomic,
I was planning to start swaying early sept and make my attempt shortly after, ive been given vitamin D tablets by my GP but ive read Vit D sways blue.
If i was to take these tablets, how long would they be in my system after i stop taking them?
Would u recommend i start my diet sway later that my initial plan?

So the doctor is saying you have low Vit. D? S/he is not just giving them as a preventative, right?
What I would do is have you take them daily for 6 weeks, then go to 3x a week maintenance dose. I don't want you to take it and then try to get it out of your system - you need it for health! So take it and then cut back, and it will still seem like a reduction in nutrients.

Yeh definately something i need and not as a precaution
Dr as prescribed as 20,000 unit capsules 2 x a day for a week
Followed by 800unit capsules 1 daily for 3 months
Would u suggest i stop snacking, start my le diet or is it better to hold off until im nearer to end of the vit D course?
Ive not got much weight to loose again, im only 7.5 stone

Ok. Take that as prescribed and then after the 3 months go to 3x a week.
How much time do you have in your fertile window?? (what's your age and do you have any requirements for child spacing for work obligations or personal preference?)

The course is so i stop afte 3 mnths, i doubt dr will give me more to wean off unless my bloods are still showing low vit D
Im 34 this yr, personal preference id like a baby next yr if i can.
Try to conceive this yr so kids can be close in age
The boys are 18 mnths apart, and then the boy and girl are 33 mnths
Id like a smaller gap this time round

Ok. Well in that case you can buy a lower dose to wean off, or the last few weeks of the 3 months' time, you simply will space doses further and further out (taking it slightly longer than the three months) if that makes sense.
I would personally not wait for the D to be out of my system, but you have to live with the results. if you try sooner and get an opposite, will you live 1000 lifetimes of regret?? But do keep in mind that you could wait and still get an opposite, and try sooner and get your desired gender!!
As a general rule that is why I say just do what is best for your family and not try to pick the "perfect" month because we can never really know when the "perfect" month even is! There are just too many variables and unknowns.

Thanks - makes sense.
Im feeling more nervous about this sway than last time! I know if i dont give it my all and get an opposite i probably will kick myself slughtly, whereas if i give it my all and get an opposite then im more likely to accept it quicker if u get what i mean.
I have noticed since last baby ive not really got any CM anymore, i used to be able to tell my fertile days from the CM i had but now nothing. Is this normal do u think? My periods are awfully light too...
I think ive been bad with my eating habits and need to stop binging on junk so gonna start my diet sooner rather than later. I can skip breakfast and stick with 2 meals with no snacking, would u suggest i still have full fat dairy and eggs due to me havin very little weight (or non) to spare? Im not exercising much but what with kids being outdoor more in the nice weather, im walking more 12,000 steps some days (does this count)

Yes it's normal, we all go through phases like that. It may mean you're less fertile, which is good for pink. Indeed, lots of people notice less CM and lighter periods.
you don't need to do only 2 meals, both 2 and 3 have always been equally acceptable.
When in doubt, always eat 4-6 eggs a week and a serving of full fat dairy daily!
Yes walking that much does count, it's best to get at least an hour consecutively though.
Hello, Atomic hopefully you will see this! It has definitely been a while. I am not TTC, my cycles have been MIA for over a year, I'm quite certain. I have not been charting but haven't had it....
Not sure where to ask not TTC
