Just wondered everyone's thoughts?
Hi everyone
I really wish I had found this site sooner!
I have a boy and a girl already and want to try for a 3rd. I have a slight preference for another girl as I would love for my little girl to have a sister as I'm very close to my own.
I'm in the TWW now but I just have a strong instinct I'm going to have conceived... I have always conceived very easily.
I know for this cycle the deed is already done but just wondered what your thoughts are with what I did and what I could change next cycle if I havent conceived?
I'm not too sure when I ovulate as I don't track but I had a lot of EWCM for about 4-5 days the week we DTD. We BD on CD14 and CD18. In the past when I've tracked I've ovulated around day 20 but this month I had a lot of cramping between days 13-19 and loads of fertile mucus so I guess it could have been any time around then.
On CD21 my CM had gone back to sticky/creamy so maybe that's a sign ovulation was over?
Would my attempts possibly class as 2 attempts if both in fertile window?
Also my diet from what I've read was pretty boy friendly. I'm naturally slim (7st7lbs) so was actually trying to gain weight.
In an attempt to do this I was drinking smoothies consisting of bananas, blueberries, oats, whole milk and peanut butter. Was drinking those daily for about 2 months before the attempts.
In October I was diagnosed with Coeliac disease and they told me that it would take time for my small intestine to recover so maybe I havent been absorbing that many nutrients anyway as untreated coeliac causes malabsorption.
Exercise wise no cardio was involved but I had been trying to tone up my arms with 2kg weights. Only about 20 reps a night but again, it seems like I've been doing everything blue!
Would love to hear what you think.

I think your bd pattern is e4d which is every 4 days which is a good girl indicator but your diet and light strength training lean boy, Im wondering how recovered your intestine is to absorb the nutrients I think I would give a slight boy lean! Good luck whatever the outcome and welcome

Ahh yeah it was 4 days inbetween. It was a Monday night and then same time on Friday night. I just have no idea when I ovulated so I guess if I ovulated the day after the CD18 attempt I could have 2 attempts depending how long both days of sperm lived?

No that is one attempt. There's no way sperm lasted from CD 14 to CD 18.
We have actually had great results with people who started gluten free diets due to celiac, conceiving pink. So I would not assume that even your attempt to gain weight was a dealbreaker for pink.
You always have a chance of a boy or a girl even with a blue-friendly diet, so I will just wish you good luck for a pink bundle!

Thank you atomic. So even with the excess ewcm I had between attempts (like the whole time) its unlikely that could have kept the CD14 sperm alive long enough to join forces with CD18 if I happened to Ov that day or the next?
Interesting you mention about pink success amongst coeliacs, fingers crossed x

Yep. Very unlikely even with EWCM (a recent study found 1 in 1000 odds with 4 days before O and 1 in 10,000 5 days before O) That is one attempt.
