One attempt or try again?
So finally ready to start ttc! Yesterday I had day 1 of OPK and today was day 2. I had one attempt on the first day of OPK but I did use a small amount of rephresh about 20 minutes before that. I’m starting to second guess that decision. Should I try again? Do E4D? I’ve been really good staying around the 1500 calorie mark and really upped the exercise the last few months. I’ve also been doing intermittent fasting almost everyday and drinking tons of coffee so I feel good about the diet and exercise.

It's up to you. If you want best chance of pink and are ok with a lower chance of conception, stick with the attempt you've had. Since you just started out I personally would err on the side of sticking with one attempt (since you say you used a small amount of RepHresh.)

Hello everyone! I have been following this site for quite some time now. I have 3 beautiful boys with my husband and we are hoping for our princess
I have been on the LE diet for 3 months now. I am currently on cycle day 17. My husband and I had an out one attempt (bd) on cycle day 14 but now today at 1pm I had a positive opk. This is my first cycle using opks so I am very new to all of this. I thought I had a positive open at day 14 but I was definitely wrong after seeing how dark my line was today! I generally have 28/29 day cycles.
My question is..is my one attempt on cycle day 14 good enough? Or should hubby and I bd one more time today since I got my positive opk? I know I have read that more than one attempt in your fertile window can sway blue so if anyone could please help me out it would be greatly appreciated!!

Your fertile window would start at the positive OPK so I would think day 14 attempt doesn’t count as an attempt.

So last cycle was not successful...probably due to having used rephresh. Sooooo, Here I am again! This time, dtd at 1am Saturday morning. I had a positive OPK on Saturday at noon (Friday OPK was negative). Does the 1am attempt count as the one attempt? Or have another go during this window?
I am not sure how soon after a positive OPK I ovulate. Last month I had weird spotting/brown discharge 2-3 days after a positive OPK. Not sure if that’s any indication of ovulation?

Yes that's one attempt. Unless you're in a super hurry to conceive I'd stick with that one attempt.
Yes that's indicative of ovulation but you can't tell when you ovulated. If it was true O spotting it can take an extra day or two to make its way out, and if it was from the cervix (around O your cervix gets very soft and it can bleed a little) it can happen after O as well.
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
