Feeling discouraged
I’m feeling a little discouraged. So I’ve been off of birth control for 10 months now but not really “trying” to conceive til about the last 3 months. I had been using ovulation predictors and having 1 attempt on first day of a positive OPK. I’m just wondering if I should change something up? My positive OPKs have been on CD 14-15 consistently, but I wonder if I actually ovulate closer to CD 17 based on some crampiness I get typically. Just to give you some background info, I’m 34 years old, on synthroid at 100 mg per day and have two boys already who I conceived immediately after stopping birth control. My cycle is usually around 29-30 days long. Any thoughts or suggestions? I have also been looking into premama fertility support and I see good results. Would you recommend against that since it has myo as the main ingredient?

Do you stop testing at positive opk? On my cheapie tests my first positive is like two days before my suuper dark line so I have like two days of positive before it's the "true" one lol. So maybe test until it stops popping up and see what it shows you about your cycle?

Ohh that’s a good question. I did use to test til negative. I use the smiley face ovulation tests but I stopped after a few months since they’re pricier and I could gather from previous months that the positive OPK lasts two days.

My OPK stays positive for 3 days and my temp spikes on day 3 or 4. This month I’ll do one attempt on the second day of positive and see if I have more luck with way!

Yes definitely time to start changing things up.
It's not at all uncommon to get pos OPK on CD 14-15 for a CD 17ish day ovulation. But my guess is likely CD 16 and then the CD 17 cramping is post-ovulation (many of us get cramping right after ovulation as the fluid release from the egg can cause irritation, and the tube cramps to move the egg down.)
Since your cycle is regular I see no reason for you to use the Premama (unless you know you have moderate to severe PCOS or more than 30-50 lbs to spare). I think it might mess with your cycle which is already so nice and regular.
I would have you go to every 4 day method now. Starting after your period ends, I want you guys to have unprotected sex every 72 hours (so "Monday, Thursday" not those days particularly but that's how you count the days) continuing on till you're sure you've ovulated, even if it means going all the way through till your next cycle begins. That will guard against delayed ovulation, and also help us in case the attempt at positive OPK is just not the best option for you.

Soooo I posted this the other day feeling period like cramps coming on. Something told me yesterday to take a pregnancy test and it was positive! I’m in disbelief!! So it definitely was 1 attempt within my window. Will definitely keep you all posted!
