The Monster has a lot of vitamins in it. Since it's a necessity I don't think it's a big deal if you need to continue with that, I just didn't want you doing it assuming it swayed pink or anything.
Everything else looking great!!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

What to drop/add for my pink sway
Hi Atomic,
I’m so gutted.
I feel like this month was pretty much the perfect sway but my BBT dropped significantly this morning so I think AF is just round the corner...
I know that our chances of conception are only so much per month anyway but I really thought this was my month
Anyway, my main concern is that my LP over the past 2 months has been 9-10 days where I’ve always been 13-14 days before. I’m trying to find someone to prescribe cyclogest/progesterone from O to lengthen the LP but failing that, I’ve heard vitamin C and B6 can help. Have you much experience with this?
Should I add in/drop anything else like full fat milk, omega 3 or anything??
So gutted.
Thanks so much again

Yes, I have a lot of experience with short LP. Please try not to worry as 10 days is plenty and 9 days is enough. Sorry if you already told me this but I just need to make sure - how are you determining ovulation?
Please do not take Vitamin C or B6. B6 especially is quite blue friendly and has actually messed up by far more cycles than it fixed. And please, please I beg, do NOT NOT NOT take any herbal remedies claimed to "fix short LP". Those are like throwing gasoline on a fire.
Progesterone supplementation is falling out of favor as very reliable studies are showing it doesn't help anyone get or stay pregnant. I don't think it sways blue or anything, just that it isn't necessary.
Drop fiber if you were taking it and add in a serving of full fat dairy every day, 4-6 eggs a week, 1 serving salmon if you like it, red meat if you don't.
Can you give me a brief estimate of how much fat and how many calories you're eating daily, your BMI, and how much weight you have lost if anything!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Oh and BTW since you've been having the Monsters it is highly unlikely you are low in any B vitamins anyway as those things are chock full of them. PLEASE NO B6

What to drop/add for my pink sway
Hi Atomic,
Apologies for the late reply.
So I’m tracking my temperatures to retrospectively see when I’ve ovulated plus OPKs (bit not religiously). I’m looking to do a progesterone level post ovulation next month just to check my levels.
I’m having about 1800-1900 calories a day and closer to about 65g fat a day as I’m still breastfeeding (3 year old) 1-2 times a day.
My BMI is about 18.3 at the mo, I dropped a bit recently but am on the up now.
I’m happy to have red meat once a week, bring on the steak!
FYI, turns out my LP was 11 days thIs month
xx

11 days is long enough to get pregnant but still do add in the meat and keep at that upper level of cal intake.

What to drop/add for my pink sway
Hi Atomic, I really need your guidance right now...
So I don’t usually ovulate until CD 16/17 so we didn’t strictly e4d before what I thought was my fertile window. We BD on day 10 & 11 with dry or creamy CM and then again on CD 13 with EWCM which I presumed was the start of my window as no EWCM before and no +OPK. But then I get a temperature shift on CD14 and they haven’t gone down
Still no +OPKs but still been having cramping and EWCM, it’s completely baffling me! Could you shed any light on this please?!
If I did ovulate on CD13 how in the blue zone was my BD pattern considering I had no fertile CM?? I know 3 attempts is fairly awful but just wondered how awful looking at all my symptoms
Could something else have caused my temperature to shift?
It’s so weird!
Thanks you as always, you’re amazing!!!
PS. Update: I’m now back to creamy CM today (CD 17) WTF is going on?!?! Lol!Last edited by itsallaboutthepink; July 16th, 2020 at 05:19 AM.

This is why we need you to start that e4d sooner, because this happens to people all the time.
But the good news is, that BD pattern was fine, because the BD on CD 10 for sure, and likely 11 as well, was too early. Not only would the sperm never have made it to CD 14, but the environment without any CM would have been so hostile the sperm would have died.
That having been said I am not sure you even ovulated though. Since you're still ahving cramping and EWCM my recommendation is for you to continue with the e4d pattern for now so you're covered either way.
We often have a temp patter where there is a rise, and then another rise, and then sometimes still another rise, and people only ovulate with the 2nd or 3rd rise. So just because your temps have gone up it doesn't necessarily mean you've ovulated (even if you get crosshairs). Be prepared to continue BD!!!! Questions?? What to drop/add for my pink sway
Oh phew! Thank goodness!
It’s just so typical that it may have been early this month
I’ve had some more EWCM today so I am gonna get on it and do e4d all the way to AF! And if this isn’t our month it’ll be e4d all the way through with no exceptions!!!
I agree that it may not have occurred yet as I still ‘feel’ fertile so I’m cautiously optimistic
But if I have already ovulated I’m happier that the attempt CD10 was a bit obsolete due to lack of CM.
What will be will be but at east I feel a bit happier now!
What else can cause temp rises that you know of??

The temp rises are just due to varying levels of hormones. There's no cause per se, it's just that some months people see a stairstep rise with a rise then plateau, then another rise and they don't ovulate with the first rise.
