Vegetarian - products based on soy
Hi!
3 weeks ago I started the LE diet (with al the info I have) I bought I plan but didn't received it yet, so I started with tracking my fat, protein and calories (fitness pal).
I also eat vegetarian since 3 weeks, and I'm doing fine. I eat a lot of products that replaces meat. Like for dinner the vegetarian shoarma/gyros or vegetarian burgers, I also eat vegetarian chicken/meat on my sandwich. And I love it! So I'm fan :-)
Al of these products are soy based. Like 80% soy protein (list of ingredients). And I think I eat them almost daily (or evening or lunch, it depends).
But... I'm swaying for a girl. Does these productes (soy based) are bad for the sway? Like do they sway blue?
Hope you can help me Atomic :-)

For example the quantity of the products I use:
- Lunch: for the vegetarian meat/chicken it's 30 grams on the sandwich (76% soy protein).
- Dinner: gyros 75 gram (87% soy protein).
For dinner I think I eat 3 times a week soy protein meat.
For the lunch it's daily!

Within the limits most things are fine, but as a general rule I recommend keeping soy to 2-3 days a week. Just as a precaution, though, and not because I have any evidence it's necessary.

Thanks!
I really like to eat it because now I’m totally vegetarian and it replaces te meat (I don’t eat any cheese) :-)
Do you advise 2/3 a week in precaution because it could sway blue or for another reason?

For the most part, as a precaution, but there are also concerns that too much soy may interfere with fertility, could possibly cause birth defects (though this would likely entail more than a serving a day) and additionally anyone with underlying thyroid conditions can't tolerate that much soy so I have you guys watch it since there are so many people with undiagnosed thyroid problems.
So long story short, it's really up to you if you want to continue with it.

Okey clear to me, I’ll try to reduce it. But it doesn’t sway blue?

I don't think it sways blue (and I can look at data that shows vegetarians and vegans have more girls, and assume they were eating more soy to support this claim.) Some of the old school sway people claim it sways blue, but they have no data indicating that it does, they're basing it off a very poor understanding of chemicals called "phytoestrogens". Since we have some evidence that indicates estrogen sways blue, they wrongfully assumed phytoestrogen sways blue. But phytoestrogen is NOT your body's natural estrogen and in fact competes with the natural estrogen receptors in the body, and may even act to make lower estrogen (which is additionally why I think it sways pink). So long story short, there's two different schools of thought on soy.
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
