Short time frame- pink sway
Hi ladies!
I'm Ashley and I'm new here! I'm a mom of 3 wonderful boys. We thought we were done. I was/am a very happy boy-mom...honestly, no gender disappointment. But now we have decided to try for #4, and we would both really like a girl. I think my feelings have changed because my mom has stage 4 cancer, and I don't know how much more time we have with her. The thought of losing that special mother/daughter relationship has just broken my heart, and created a longing to have a daughter of my own.
My DH wants to start trying this month, and so do I. I don't want to postpone. My youngest is 2.5 and I don't want the age gap to grow more. Also, if I do get pregnant, I want my mom to meet this baby. So anyway, what are some quick things I could do?? I don't have 3 months to commit to a diet. My period started today actually. So I have a week! Is there anything I can do in that short time frame to sway my odds to a girl?
Thank you!!!

The most important thing you can do in the here and now is have one attempt in the fertile window.
How old is your husband?
I would definitely at least consider starting diet and exercise in case you don't get pregnant right away.
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom

Thank you so much for your reply!
My husband and I are both 35.
Does the one attempt theory have to do with multiple attempts raising the pH?
I actually did start exercising and dieting 2 weeks ago just to be healthy. But maybe it will help me sway for a girl too!
Does the Calcium/Magnesium supplement work quickly or would I need to take that for a long time for it to make a difference?

We don't know why the multiple attempts sways. It's just a very strong trend we saw in our results. I tend to not think it's pH since pH stuff has not worked for us.
I don't think the cal-mag supps really work but allegedly you're meant to be on them for 6 weeks and more like 12 is better. But hey, if they do work surely some has to be better than none.

Thank you so much atomic sagebrush!
I just found an essay you wrote about it. It took me a little exploring to figure out the site
I'm glad there's something I can do in this first month to attempt a sway!

Hello, Atomic hopefully you will see this! It has definitely been a while. I am not TTC, my cycles have been MIA for over a year, I'm quite certain. I have not been charting but haven't had it....
Not sure where to ask not TTC
