Using OPK as pregnancy tests!
Im sure you have asked before but I'm 9dpo and out of curiosity keep doing an oak every day, there seems to be a faint line there every day, could this indicate pregnancy or is this wishful thinking?

I would also ask you Atomic what your early signs of pregnancy were?

No. You won't get a positive OPK from pregnancy till after the point you can reliably get a positive HCG pregnancy test - so 14+ DPO.
The reason you get those faint lines on pregnancy tests when you aren't pregnant is that your body uses the LH to do all sorts of things. Believe it or not, if your husband peed on those sticks, even HE would get those lines!!! It is only when the LH reaches a certain concentration that it will trigger the egg to be released.

The one sure sign I always got was sore breasts, and not just normal sore breasts but this peculiar kind of sensation I only ever got when pregnant. In three of my five pregnancies I noticed this and knew or at least suspected I was pregnant before I tested, and then I realized in retrospect that I had had it in the other pregnancies too but hadn't realized what it was.
But for the most part I don't get pregnancy signs till after a missed period.

Hey, thanks Atomic for your reassuring message. I’m feeling a little better health wise although the thrush medication wasn’t helpful at all, I think it actually made things worse…?! Of more...
