With the first test the line didn’t show up when I checked but I left it in the bathroom and my DH came down to tell me there was a second line but in hindsight that was after more than 10 minutes and I’ve since read that a second line can develop even if negative after that time so the result is only accurate up to 10 minutes..
Here is the test I have just done this morning and it’s not exactly 10 minutes since I took it

Period late but test negative??
It’s now CD35 and I normally get my period on CD30 or CD31 so if I’m not pregnant I don’t know what is going on and am a bit concerned there’s something wrong with me

If this is a no go, what will it mean for our next attempt Atomic? Should we just do every 72 hrs throughout the month to make sure we catch ovulation as now my cycle seems totally off so I’ve now idea when it will happen.. also assume I need to actually have my period arrive for us to have another attempt? I’ve never missed a period so this is really perplexing

I have scrolled by this a couple times today and I see an extremely faint shadow. I can’t say one way or the other what that means but on my screen that is what I see. Best wishes.

It took me days to get a clear BFP with this pregnancy so hang in there! I started testing so early in hindsight (when you look at DPO) but there was little shadows of a line that gave me hope. Occasionally my afternoon test would be darker then the first thing in the morning test so no harm in checking in the afternoon too if you have enough tests handy!

There's nothing wrong with you, you just ovulated later than you think. This happens a lot with pink sways and is not any kind of bad sign or anything like that.
It is still possible that you haven't ovulated yet and can still get pregnant this month. I would absolutely have you start doing e4d in the 72 hour pattern right now. you do not need to wait for your period.

Thanks Atomic. My period has just arrived today (1 whole week late!). I’m quite sad for the baby I’d hoped I was carrying but also relieved that if I’m not pregnant I at least have my cycle back..
With the E4D method would this look correct (even though in my head it’s every 3 days not 4!):
Attempt at:
CD7
CD10
CD13
CD16
CD19
CD22
CD25
CD28
As this is likely to be our last attempt we are cutting back on the potentially fertility lower things like the hot shower and daily alcohol and just found:
LE vegetarian diet
Coffee
Walking (and hopefully jogging /biking for DH)
Folic acid (me) and OLE (DH)..
Is there anything else we should do (other than keep our fingers crossed and say some prayers!)?!

You can call it whatever you want in your head, we just had to pick something to agree upon and e4d in the 72 or 96 hour pattern OR Monday/Thurs and Mon/Fri is what has been the least confusing for everyone over time. It's because a lot of people count it like Day 1 (attempt) Day 2 (skip) Day 3 (skip) Day 4 (attempt). The important thing is that we are all using the same terminology when we talk to each other about it so there is no confusion.
I would add in a female orgasm and stay laying down for at least 15 min after sex, part of that time on your belly.

Thanks atomic, would the 96hrs be a better girl sway that 72hrs?

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
