Possible to conceive girl right after miscarriage?
Hi all! I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant with baby #3. We saw the heartbeat last week and are starting to feel more excited that we may actually get to welcome another baby!
We did our second girl sway leading up to these last two pregnancies (our first sway was an opposite, resulting in the cutest little boy ever), however, recently I keep hearing about all of these people who conceived boys immediately after miscarriages. Like 5-8 different stories of people who didn’t get a period between, but just immediately got pregnant with a boy. I was feeling good about our sway, but now I’m wondering if it was a mistake to try so quickly right after my miscarriage! (Though I’m thrilled that I’m pregnant and that this baby has stuck around, regardless of what we end up having!).
So I’m curious—did any of you conceive girls the cycle after a miscarriage? I’d love to hear some positive stories, to at least know it’s possible!

Nothing in swaying is 100% guaranteed. You also need to keep in mind that those people were not swaying and likely were doing many things to boost fertility, all of which sway pink.
(aside, you are NOT more fertile after a loss, at least not in the way that sways blue. So don't worry about that at all.)
Our stats show that trying after a loss is pink friendly. We have 73% success rate trying after a loss (even when people had been off diet for a bit during pregnancy). I have had many clients who got girls the first cycle after a miscarriage.

Thanks Atomic! I really appreciate it! An old thread also popped up with stories of many folks who went on to have girls—it’s good to know it’s even possible, even if it’s just anecdotal! I genuinely have no feeling either way with this babe, though I had a dream last night that we saw massive testicles on our baby’s 10 week ultrasound (which would be impossible anyway, and I don’t put stock in dreams), but both my husband and I laughed when I told him about it in the morning! We’ll find out soon enough!

People tell me dreams all the time and there is NO correlation to their baby's gender! How funny is that! Keep me posted!!!
