Low grade fever and TTC
I've had a low grade fever for 3 evenings (my BBT is all sorts of totally whacked out after extremely level numbers before fever), I don't feel like I have it during the day but my naturopath used a different thermometer yesterday (that scans temporal and forehead both) and it consistently read 100* and I felt cold but not horrible.
OPK was very dark yesterday and is much lighter today, I can't tell any temp shift because my BBT is skyrocket high.
Is my body essentially going to/already has cooked the egg?
Can't even say how frustrated I am with this timing. Have to take next month off ttc, had a chemical last month, already on cycle 5, and only have 6 left before closing the door permanently. But it is what it is.
I need the truth.

You're fine. Please TTC.
Even in pregnancy that is nothing. That is not considered a high temperature at all and will not hardboil your eggs.

We did try this cycle, no way was I going to not at least try... today (I think, just going by OPKs here) is 1dpo.
That's a relief re: temp. Google says 2.7*F increase can be a teratogen. I have no idea how hot I'm getting really, but what you said makes me feel better, thank you.
You are always the voice of reason, I so appreciate that.

Google says a lot of things.
Consensus is that if it ain't above 103 it doesn't hurt anything EVEN in pregnancy. Before pregnancy, there is no way 100 temp for a couple days does anything bad to eggs. It just makes no sense. Even the most totally bad, fully proven things like REtin A, which we know cause birth defects, only do it a fraction of the time. Don't go looking for things that somebody on Google claims are bad because you'll invariably find them.

Some women even get a really high BBT in that range (such as myself!) after a really good O! Mine felt like a fever, i honestly thought i was getting sick with a cold but by the next afternoon i felt great. My temp during ovulation was 99.9-100.1 then went down but still stayed in good range. You COULD have just had a really good O

So tired of negative pg tests. : tears :
I don't know how to keep the faith... this is just really freaking hard. And I took the easy before, so for granted.

I'm sorry BF. Just try to tell yourself that sometimes it may mean girl when it takes a little longer (no guarantees, of course, but just an observation based on the averages)
So happy for you Treens, congratulations Sent from my SM-A225F using Tapatalk
