Every 2-4 days is best. Your husband should be releasing regularly every 2-4 days or so as far in advance as possible.
I know there are some places that say differently but after having read 9 zillion studies on the subject I'm convinced the best chance of conception comes from regular release every few days.

Very tough to know right?
We are very bad at frequent releases outside of fertile period.. more so 2ww where i get complacant and less on ot as its probably worked this month right?
To make up for lack of release for 13 days what can you do?
We also have problems with smep & it for instance didnt work this month, i think husband finds it too much. We had issues where he couldnt perform on a positive opk (in end did but was stressful). I had a + opk cd 13 i tried to get him to try cd 12 had i got that done successfully we wouldnt have had as good of a hit as near to O. If i make sense?
When is best time to try in relation to O? Husband for eg. Prefers 2 days in a row by third day amount hes letting loose is just tiny.
I am half wondering to do following.. + opk cd 13 for example not try till cd 14?

It's not tough to know, it's tough to prove. I know abstain really does cut back odds of conception not only becasue we've got studies that prove it but also because our results have been that people doing abstain (even at other times of the month) have had lower chances of conception than those who are "clearing the pipes" regularly.
If he's already abstained for 13 days there's nothing you can do, just pick it up with reg release.
If he can't do that many releases, that is fine, do the releases he CAN do. Even if it's once a week it will be better than nothing.
We can't know what the best day to have attempt is. We can guess based on studies that O-2 and O-1 are the best days to attempt but since it's not possible to be able to predict what day ovulation will happen on, it's pretty hard to be able to time that (since you'd have to be able to predict the future.)

Avoid sugar and eat whole grains, fruit and veg plus lean meats and healthy fats. There aren't really magic foods unfortunately, you do have to change your diet overall.

It's better than Wellmans but still has very high doses of B Vitamins. I'd be ok with you guys using this one but he needs to wean off any other vitamin he's taking that has B vitamins in it.
Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
