Thanks, y'all! The ultrasound tech was cagey when I was asking about gender, but she said she didn't see anything that looked boyish and would give better than 50/50 odds of it being a girl. My placenta is also posterior, whereas with my two boys it was anterior, and she said rather pointedly that maybe that was another indication that I was making a "different variety" now. Also, my placenta has been and is on the left side, which gives me hope per Ramzi's theory (my ob and the tech confirmed it was on the left, I wouldn't have a clue otherwise, lol). Praying!! After three boys (my DSS and my husband and I's two little boys), we sure would love a little girl!! This one was conceived after taking Vitex two-weeks on, two-weeks off for a few months and changing my diet, including adding tons of crystal light (aspartame). We'll see!
