I agree. There has been at least 3 separate studies looking at "angle" early gender predictions. While the #s varied a bit for 12 and 13 weeks ultrasounds, all of them were 50/50 at 11wks. Also, if you are hoping for a girl - in all the studies more boys were incorrectly identified as girls at the 11 wk US than vice versa. So you are more likely to be told girl and be disappointed to find out later it is actually a boy. At 13 wks, the studies showed predictions to be between 94-100% accurate.

I've rebooked for 13 weeks. FX!
I'd be happy with another son but want to know asap so I can get used to it and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy (my last!)Blessed with BLUE 7 times
with (no swaying) due Jan '13.

Do most nubs look girly at 11 and 6? Been told girl at this gestation now worried it wasn't an accurate guess!

Yes, most babies will have girly nubs at this stage. Sorry, not reliable!
