They say potty shots are inaccurate at 13 weeks while it looks like a boy I can't be sure

Potty shot looks a lot like one I got with my first son at that same stage. It didn't change. So I have to stick with boy on this one. I am not good with nubs though...so I can't base it on anything but the potty shot.

Thanks for the quick replies ladies. The tech told us a boy right away, when the doctor walked in and we asked to confirm he said he's not seeing anything so he is going to say a girl. Then after we told him what the tech said he kept looking and then he said boy also, but not to buy anything based on what we just heard. To be honest I was hoping and mentally preparing myself for a girl. there are no first born boys on either side of our families so we both are shocked. I am still hoping they will say girl at our 20 wk scan so I can indulge in all the pink cuteness but at the end of the day I just want a healthy baby and will love the little one the same regardless of the gender.

Were you right at 13w or more towards 14 weeks? I just don't think potty shots are reliable at 13 weeks.

Based on that, I wouldn't stock the nursery in blue either. BUT, I would trust a tech before a doctor when it comes to ultrasounds. I am great friends with a doctor (an OB) and she openly admits her techs know more about gender-finding than she does. She concentrates more on the anatomy of other parts and less so on the gender, so she doesn't often make guesses. My previous OB had a sonogram strip right in front of him, with a penis shot and asked "so, did to find out the gender?" Lol. I showed him and he was like "oh yeah, I guess that does look like a boy." Time will tell!

Hi everyone, I gave birth to my first lovely daughter in September. I was wondering what would be the best timing to start trying for another girl? Would that be a year after giving birth, 18 months...
Best timing for ttc girl after...
