That's what throws me off. It looks like there's a nub sticking out but then again I don't see any obvious scrotum. DS's was very obvious. Do girls still have a nub at 16 weeks?

I'm posting the 3D shot of baby's parts. I see a nub sticking out but no scrotum. Shouldn't a scrotum be visible if it's a boy?

If it was an elective I would call and say that you want a second ultrasound for free to confirm because you got a second opinion and were told that it was not a boy. If it was a tech through the dr's office I would call the dr's and complain. Either way congrats on your beautiful baby!
Thank you!
It was an elective scan. The tech said she was 100% sure baby is a boy. I don't know why but I can't help but doubt that. With DS I had no doubt he was all boy.

3D pics shouldn't ever be used for gender. They don't show enough detail. And from the 3d pics I have seen of little boys you can usually see a scrotum. Especially with a shot like that. That could easily be a swollen clitoris in the 3D pic. I would definitely call and tell them you want another ultrasound for free because you got a second opinion and was told that it was not a boy. Almost all elective places offer a second ultrasound for free if the gender determination was not successful or questioned.

No, it's not mine. She actually ended up having a boy but I think yours is a girl.
