Which Gender: Scan Image at 13 Weeks and 4 Days
Hi Folks,
Returned from our first dating scan today and very excited to be here which seems to be a very informative site aimed at helping parents to be. What a fantastic support.
This child is our first so this is all obviously very new to us. At the NHS scan we were told the gender would not be disclosed until 18 weeks b y the radiologist and it has been some time since the “nub” had been mentioned to her previously when it was apparently “all the rage”.
Having read up on “nubs” before the scan I was a little disappointed to be told about the NHS general blanket approach, that said it doesn’t stop me from having a guess. Seems our baby doesn’t want to let us know either way as their little legs are sticking up hiding his/her nub.
I’ve posted 2 images below and hoped someone slightly more informed than me could advise whether then thought we were having a girl or a boy and why.
Any educated guesses? Any insightful advice appreciated. :-)Last edited by DB9506; May 26th, 2015 at 04:28 PM.

I don't think any gender clues can be seen! Sorry. Congrats on your first!
Thank you God and Our Lady

@bunnywabbit, mommymachine, xxforhubby and True Blue- thank you all for the contributions. I agree the nub does portray a girl.
That said, the legs disguise it nicely! Should know more at our 20 week scan in 6.
It's all become very real all of a sudden!
Thanks again for input all.

Also leaning girl, it looks like something pointing downwards rather than upwards.
