I have a question about the angle of the dangle!
My scan was 12+4 and to my albeit untrained eye the nub did look flat throughout the scan and does on my ultrasound pic too (although there’s more than one nub line which does confuse me) - if it was going to angle up like a boy nub, at what gestation would that happen? I have had a terrible headache today and I am 13+1 so was wondering if that could be testosterone headaches? (If that’s even a thing?!) hopefully the nub was flat and it is a girl and I’m just trying to manage myself in case it’s not!

Without a picture I can't say. Usually around 13 weeks is the best time for nub guessing. Boy nubs are usually short with stacking on the end and girl nubs long and forked. You can get bad headaches with a girl or boy pregnancy.

Oh sorry I didn’t realise I hadn’t linked my post. Here is the scan at 12+4 if it was going to angle and point upwards when would that happen? And why does it look like there are 3 nub lines?!

It does look girly to me but nub shots are not as reliable as a potty shot at 16+ weeks. I can't say when the nub would rise as there's no exact timing of it, just that usually between 12-13 weeks you can start to tell the difference between boy and girl nubs. 13 weeks is more accurate than 12 weeks. If your baby is a girl then the 3 lines are probably the labia and clitoris forming. Boys can appear to have three lines as well at certain angles.

Pregnancy causes headaches because it affects how your blood vessels dilate.
"testosterone headaches" are in people taking testosterone replacement therapy and not women pregnant with boys.
There is more than one line on girls too.
I would trust a flat nub late in the 13th week. I've only seen 2 people who had girly nubs at the end of the 13th week who ended up having boys.
So happy for you Treens, congratulations Sent from my SM-A225F using Tapatalk
