I measured a week ahead and my baby was ivf so 10000% sure of dates! He arrived a few days early and not a exceptionally big baby just perfect 😊💙 don't panic just go with what they say and babies come when they are ready xox

There is literally no reason to have another scan and I would not have another one. While we believe ultrasounds are safe, most doctors prefer to err on the side of having the minimum amount required to ensure baby/mama's health. A small variance in due dates is NOT a requirement for a healthy baby/mama. Your doc will have lots of clues about whether or not you're getting close to delivery and for all you know you may end up needing another scan later and can clarify.
Not to mention if your baby is just on the larger side for whatever reason, it wouldn't tell you anything anyway!
Thank you atomic. Had my appointment today. Ob didn't recommend another scan. She said babies measure ahead if you have gestational diabetes (which I have now)
Also she didn't change my due date..
