Girl sway... early ultrasound...
I got a bit too keen and posted these pictures of a nub expert site. Only 11w 6d and I don’t think the nub is that clear. But I’ve had all boy guesses, despite my slight girl sway. I think I just need a bit of a reality check that it’s probably too early to tell and could still go either way. Though obviously I’m kinda expecting things could go blue. Thanks and nice to meet everyone (first post)

Hi and welcome! Personally I don't think these are great for guessing anyway as the baby is curled up and the nub is not complete in any of them. 50-50 from me!

Hello Spence, yes under 12 weeks is still early as things are just starting to move I can see where they are getting their guesses from as the bottom pic seems to show boyish stacking but there is alot going on in that area so could be anything!!
Did you get your sway ideas from over here?

Hi tillytys, thanks for your post. I agree, lots going on in the image. I’ve been being a bit obsessive lately and trawling the internet for nub pictures, driving my OH a bit insane! He understands but thinks I’m reading far too much into things (and I probably am!). Yes I got my sway ideas from reading threads on here, didn’t want to be too strict but followed some basic principles. Cut out red meat and skipped breakfast, had one attempt at +ve OPK and OH abstained for almost 2wks. I took prenatals because I had some from my last pregnancy so that may have let me down, also didn’t do heavy exercise but am constantly on my feet at work and I have a 20 month old little boy to run around after. So a light sway but hoping 😊🤞🏼 Xxx

Oh, I also have access to ultrasound at work (I’m a vet) so I tried scanning myself today. It’s surprisingly tricky to scan yourself laying down & to get good images. Our machines are also fairly old in the grand scheme of things (probably at least 5yr old ex human medicine machines) so image quality is pretty poor in comparison to my 12w scans. Doubt it’ll be much help but doesn’t stop me wanting to scan myself at every opportunity to look for a nub! I should really just stop now! 🙄. Please help me restrain myself until my 20w scan at the end of March! X

Yes we've had very poor results with people scanning themselves, even on human machines! It's just really hard to get the right angles. But hey, feel free to post images (although even 12 weeks is earlier than I like to guess) and we'll take a look.
