Also, you should try to find a folate supplement that doesn't contain any other vitamins. The extra vitamins will also sway boy. As far as dtd, I'd recommend 1 attempt when you first get a positive opk. That has been getting the best results for girls. If you can do it, cardio 6 times a week for 60 mins is also getting great pink results. Good luck and FX for your pink bundle!

Yes, I agree with momamia.
Most current girl swayers are doing:
* LE diet for at least 12 weeks before attempt which is 1500-1800 calories, 40-50g protein, and 30-60g fat a day.
* Skipping breakfast.
* No snacking.
* Fiber supplement with meals.
* 60 minutes of cardio daily OR nothing at all.
* 1 attempt in fertile window (by BD every 4 days OR by BD once at +opk)
* Folic acid or folate only.
* Clomid if you can get it.
* Alcohol and caffeine daily.
* Olive leaf extract for DH.
* Licorice root for DH (only if under 35 years old with no blood pressure issues).
Most have stopped doing antihistamines, Rephresh/Replens/Sylk, jump and dump, PH stuff, saw palmetto, and even vitex as they don't seem to sway much and only make conception harder.
Me: 35 years old. Was an infant nanny and birth and postpartum doula. Now a full time SAHM.

July 2016: Laproscopic surgery to remove a ping pong ball sized endometrioma on left ovary and 3 pea size fibroids on outside of uterus. Hysteroscopy to remove one larger "penetrating fibroid" inside uterus.
Oct 2016: Heartbroken after DH's vasectomy. Looks like my dreams of a daughter are gone.

hopper, I know exactly how you feel. I kept scheduling my tubal reversal surgery and then kept having to reschedule it (like 3 times!!). Each time, I would completely lose my oomph with the diet/exercise and each time, I would regret doing that. I still regret it. I know it's hard, but do your best to stick with it! Trust me, you'll be really glad that you did!

Thanks momamia!! I am hoping I can stick with it regardless. I don't have a whole lot more I can really lose but I think if I up my cals a bit and just maintain my weight it's better than falling off the wagon entirely! Fingers crossed anyway.

Planning a blue sway in for my August cycle which means Oin in September. We have a daughter that was a surprise, we swayed blue for our son and hoping for another in May.
I'm taking a multivitamin with 800mg FA, an extra dosing of FA 4x a day(800mg each), fish oil 3x a day and I bought L argenine but read about it drying up CM so it's sitting in the cabinet. Also drinking ACV 3x daily. I don't eat much at all so I am not sure where to even begin on that. I know I ate a lot of bananas last time around when swaying and I craved orange juice.
I bought a clearblue smiley OPK yesterday and have gotten low for the past 2 days. I'm currently on cycle day 13. I ovulated on CD 12 the month before we tried for my son and then on CD 13 the month we conceived him. My CM was clear and watery on CD 11 and 12 which is what has me confused. I think I ovulated super early this month because it's now creamy but a bit runny. I haven't started temping but just putting in CM and cramping/changes on my FF chart. Is it possible to ovulate twice in a cycle because before AF I get the CM again watery to creamy then AF is usually a few days after that.

Welcome photogingmom! You can ovulate more than once in a month but it's usually within 24 hours of your first ovulation. Your sway sounds good to me! FX!

Hello! I've been on and off this thread, but here I am at the week of TTC! Where did the time go? Here is my summary:
Last cycle: 24 days (usually 28, had dropped to 26 days for the past four months on LE)
* LE diet for essentially for 22 weeks. Though I moved into "guesstimating" mode as counting was getting tiring.
* Lost 27lbs in 22 weeks (158 to 131)...5'3"...so not super thin yet...was hoping to get to 125. I'm 29, btw!
* Skipping breakfast (coffee in the morning).
* I wasn't so great about not snacking! But I did stick to 1500-1800.
* Fiber supplements with all meals.
* Got close to 60 mins of cardio for the last 12 weeks on most days. I'd say I averaged 50 minutes 6 days a week.
* Folic acid daily, no other vitamins.
* I'm just not a huge alcohol person so I didn't do that.
* Olive leaf extract for DH.
I know I've done a lot, but somehow I'm still worried it's not enough. I only averaged 50 mins instead of 60 of exercise! I didn't get into the 120s! Our two boys were one-shot wonders at 146lbs and 136lbs, so I'm plenty ready for babies. I just feel like 131 is not low enough to be that different.
We are going to do one attempt, though I'm tempted to do a day before +opk to have a little cut-off. I think +opk will be CD12. I just feel like I need to be as on the fringe as I can be. Any recommendations?!

Welcome, smbarnett11! Your sway looks great to me! It's the act of losing weight that sways. I think you're at a great weight! I would bd at +opk, unless you are absolutely positive that you O close to it. Most women take 24-48 hours to actually O after a +opk. So a cut off might be pushing it. It is your first month ttc though, so you might be comfortable with that. I think your exercise and everything look fantastic! Good luck, kperez!! I'm not very familiar with the recommendations for bding for a boy. I'm ttc a girl. I'd think it's probably a lot of attempts in the fertile window. Hopefully someone will chime in soon for you!

For TTC boy you should DTD the night of first +opk & the following morning and night . Then every other day just in case O was delayed.
It is recommended to DTD every 2-4 days unprotected all cycle long once AF leaves town in attemp month
Good Luck

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
